PlayPhone Hits – PlayPhone's first own branded TV channel
September 2008- Playphone EMEA launches PlayPhone Hits on Sky Digital channel 167, operated by Information TV. Broadcasting at every evening Playphone Hits will provide viewers with the latest in music video programming, from leading artistes and performers.
Viewers will be invited to interact with Playphone's mobile services that include games, celebrity gossip and other fun applications.
Delivering music entertainment and interactivity to Sky Digital viewers
Programming will include music videos, updated weekly, competitions and there will be a constant Playphone presence on screen, offering ringtones, games, celeb videos, news and gossip and other content.
Viewers will be encouraged to interact with the programming by texting or visiting the Playphone website at http://emea.playphone.com.
The launch of the channel will see a new promotional programme broadcast each week, featuring Playphone's enticing mix of mobile interactive services.

Information TV is a broadcaster whose innovative licence and business model allows organisations to use their own branded TV programmes on Information TV channels to inform, engage and activate interested audiences. This can take the form of branded programmes or 'mini-channels', broadcast on Information TV 2, Sky Channel 167 and via Freesat. Programmes on channel 166 are also simulcast on broadband as a video stream at www.information.tv.
